Seitan Steak with Mushroom Gravy

A high-protein seitan steak smothered in savory mushroom gravy. With 35g of protein per serving, this dish is designed for muscle-building phases, pairing chewy seitan texture with umami-rich mushrooms.

About This Recipe

Seitan provides one of the densest plant-based protein sources, with a neutral flavor that absorbs marinades exceptionally well. The mushroom gravy adds depth, beta-glucans for immune support, and natural glutamates that enhance savoriness.

This entrée is ideal for strength athletes seeking high protein without heaviness. Pair with complex carbs like brown rice or quinoa to round out glycogen needs post-training.
